The 2011 Street League Skateboarding Competition is a big deal. A huge deal really, like $1.6 million prize purse huge deal. This nationally televised street skateboarding competition begins it’s first leg in our very own Seattle on the weekend of May 7th-8th. The nationwide event was created by skateboarding media mogul and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek and is encouraging veteran pros and young guns alike to push the limits on street skating.
Tickets for the event just went on sale, and you won’t want to miss out on all these pros throwing it down at the KeyArena in May. The preliminaries will begin on the 7th and the final showdown will begin at noon on Sunday the 8th.
